Blog: Tess for Disney Agents

Tess provides travel agents with all of the tools they need to build their business. Our commitment to being Simpler, Smarter, and Everywhere allows us to provide agents with the tools they need, when and where they need them. Never content with what we have, the Tess team is constantly working on improvements and adding new features to make the system better for all of our agents and agencies.

Disney Vacation Planners have all of the same needs that other travel agents do, but the key to their success is provinding customized support and services to their clients which requires tracking additional information and following up on unique tasks.

At the beginning of the year, Tess will be updated with a new release that includes features that will be useful for many of our agents, but are specifically intended to help agents work a lot with Disney destinations.

Updates include:

• The ability to add a new tab to a trip that contains custom fields. This will allow agents to track things like ticket type, dining plans, ticket dates, Memory Makers, promotional items to ship, and more.
• Create preset tasks such as dinner reservations and final payments. The common tasks you need for every trip will be created automatically and you can customize them for the specific trip.
• Use automation to send a series of emails to the client to thank them, remind them about dinner reservations, give them final reminders and well wishes before they leave, welcome them home, etc.
• Use new Group trip functionality to manage multiple trips for larger groups in one place, creating these details for the entire group. Automation can be set for the entire group or for individuals.

Existing features like custom reports and client import/export will continue to make it easy to get your data in and out of Tess so you can know how your business is doing and work with other systems.

Tess is dedicated to providing all of our agents with solutions they need to be efficient and acurrate for their clients, as well as providing the back office systems Agencies need to manage the business. We are very excited about these new features that will help Disney Vacation Planners do even more with Tess and grow their own businesses!
